This was Queen Elisabeth's favourite castle it is located approx. 30 km-s East of Budapest, in Gödöllő.

Queen Elisabeth's (Sissy's) summer residency is the world's second largest Baroque castle. The castle operated as a Soviet Army Base during the last 40 years. Its renovation began after the system's change and is going on until today. We visit the castle with a guide.

Visitors can walk in the park and can enjoy a coffee and cookies in the Castle-café. There is shopping possibility in the souvenir shop. The tour goes on to Máriabesnyő, a visit to the Grassalkovich family tomb.
