WELCOME The Carlton welcomes you to Budapest, and it has recently been renovated (in 2000) to be as comfortable and convenient as possible.

LOCATION The very best thing about the Carlton is it's location. It's mere steps from the Castle hill area, which means many of the sights worth checking out are walking distance - a rare thing, for Budapest is quite large. It's also near the Chain Bridge, a famous monument stretching across the Danube. Nearby, a funicular, or hillside tram takes passengers up to some excellent views of the city.

ROOMS It has 95 rooms on seven floors, and every room is equipped with a satellite TV set, a minibar, a safe for your valuables and air conditioning that you control yourself. There is also a little set-up for making yourself a cup of coffee or tea, and if you have a laptop with you, it's no problem to plug it in for direct Internet access.

CONFERENCES The meeting rooms at the Carlton are perfect for business gatherings and presentations. Natural daylight is a plus, and all the audio-visual equipment required is on hand and at your disposal.
