WELCOME A modern hotel with centennial tradition... As Hungary's largest hotel with its 499 rooms the 4star Hungaria City Center provides the comfort of home with professional services to tourists, business travellers and conference participants, as well. The central block of the present hotel building has served the guests since 1915, and the name of the former Imperial Hotel is still preserved by one of the function rooms. Since its reopening in 1985, the Hungaria City Center was modernised several times, and today it is the patron of modern Hungarian art: the majority of the works of art were ordered by the hotel, while the artists were inspired by the place of their display.

LOCATION As it is located along the main traffic line of the city's heart, leading to the Elizabeth Bridge, Hungaria City Center has excellent public transport connections ensuring easy access to the most important parts of the city and the countryside. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to all major shopping and business centres and the historical old downtown with the tourist attractions worth visiting.

ROOMS All 499 air-conditioned rooms are equipped with direct dial telephone, Internet access, automatic wake-up system, minibar, radio, colour TV with pay movies and satellite TV programs. The laundry and valet service are also at the disposal of the guests, in the bathroom a built-in hairdryer enhances the comfort of the rooms.

RESTAURANTS The hotel counts with two restaurant, the Restaurant Beatrix, which awaits guests with excellent delicacies of the traditional Hungarian and international cuisines, and in the evenings a gipsy band assures the high spirit, and the Restaurant Fiaker, which recalls the atmosphere of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy with a light Vienna touch of fiakers. CONFERENCES Hungaria City Center is ideal for various events offering a wide range of services for businessmen and conference guests. Conferences, banquets, meetings, and private parties for 10 to 500 participants can be held in the hotel's conference centre offering 12 air-conditioned function rooms, mostly with natural light, where different set-ups can be arranged with moveable walls, each different in capacity and size.
