WELCOME Originally opened as a hotel, Marco Polo was converted into a top class hostel, with many facilities. The building was constructed over 100 years ago but renovated in 2001, keeping the original pre-century atmosphere as authentic as possible according to current modern standards.

LOCATION The hotel is centrally located. It has easy access from the International Airport as well as the railway stations. It takes 10 minutes by metro and 3 walking to get to the hotel from the Déli Railway station.

ROOMS You can choose among a total of 56 rooms: singles, doubles, triples, four bedded rooms, or dorm style rooms (5-12 persons). All rooms, except the dorm rooms, have a telephone, private facilities, towels and soap. The dorm rooms have a new twist at Marco Polo - here every bed is separated from the others with a curtain and a closet, so it is possible to maintain your privacy. The dorm rooms have 2 showers and 2 toilets, for the guests in the room to share. This is not just a good solution for those travelling alone, but also a popular and cheap alternative for school groups.

RESTAURANTS There is a bar situated in the vaulted cellar of the hostel and offers excellent possibilities to relax and have fun in a friendly atmosphere.

SERVICES Marco Polo offers its guests a wide range of services, 24 -hour reception, luggage room, tourist information, free city maps, currency exchange, car rental service, TV rental, wake-up calls, washing machines and dryer, kitchen, public telephone, fax and Internet-access, kids bed, kids chair. It is possible to buy drinks, snacks, postcards, stamps, calling cards, international newspapers and magazines. In the hostel communal room there is a big screen TV, billiard, darts and lots of others games. Pets are allowed.
