DESCRIPTION Alabárdos offers a first-class dining experience. Inhabiting a gothic building, dating back to the 15th century, for 35 years now, this award-winning restaurant has gained a reputation for treating its guests in the most knightly manner. Alabárdos is an authentic and absolutely elegant restaurant. The main dining room has seat 42, and it is ornamented with antique representations of the Middle Ages. The menus are sturdy leather, heavy and beautifully decorated, and the tablecloths are upholsteries from the 1920s. Great attention to detail is obvious in the kitchen as well. The chef combines new flavours with ideas from 18th and 19th century recipe books. The culinary outcome is delightful, and although the menu is filled with enticing dishes, it is adaptable to the preferences of the guests. They encourage the communication between the "kitchen" and the guests. Restaurant Alabárdos aims to be the best in personal cooking. The idea of our show kitchen is that the guests can see what they will eat and how it is prepared.
