DESCRIPTION The historical atmosphere ensured by the event halls of the Academy Club also provides a magnificent, panoramic view of the River Danube and the stunning Buda Castle Hill from the MainBuilding of the HungarianAcademy of Sciences in Széchenyi Square at the foot of Chain Bridge. The exclusive, members-only restaurant and the event halls of the Academy Club represent the perfect choice for events living up to the spirit of the Hall of Science (Main Building). The events are organised upon the prior consent of the Academy Club Association and along the guidelines respecting the spirit, values and environment of the building.
VÖRÖSMARTY HALL
The spacious Vörösmarty Hall welcomes its guests with the authentic atmosphere of English clubs. The hall can ideally function as an outstanding spot for informal meetings, press conferences or even exclusive receptions with its stylishly arranged, elegant mahogany desks and comfortable leather sofas and armchairs.
KODÁLY HALL
The uniqueness and exclusivity of the Kodály Hall lie in the wide range of arrangement alternatives, depending on the type and style of events. The hall is ideal for lectures, presentations, receptions and gala dinners. The magnificent view over the River Danube and its majestic atmosphere and design creates a prestigious environment for any occasion. The Vörösmarty Hall and the Kodály Hall are adjacent to each other and can be interconnected. In case of a special approval licence by the Academy Club Association the two halls can be used for weekend events.
KRÚDY HALL
The hall is suitable for holding receptions and parties. The events equalling the noble spirit and prestige of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences are held upon the previous consent of the Academy Club Association.
