LOCATION Located in Visegrád, the historical town of the Danube Bend.

DESCRIPTION The interesting building complex is located in the historical neighbourhood of the town. The restaurant was reopened in 1997. It was rebuilt in a renaissance style and nowadays servants in costumes offer you dishes in handmade pots cooked on the basis of medieval recipes. The medieval background music gives the restaurant a unique atmosphere and these all provide the customer an amazing experience. They organise Knights' Tournament for groups performed by the St. George Order of Visegrád, which can be well integrated with the Royal Feast.

ENTERTAINMENT
The knights' tournament
Guests are greeted by the royal servant with drink and can take a sit on the covered grandstand in the court of the Solomon Tower. The knight of the St. George Order gives brief information about the building of the tower, about its usage in the Middle Ages and about the activity of the order of knighthood.
Two members of the group will be the King and the Queen. They will get royal cloak and they take a seat on the throne.
The knights demonstrate medieval weapons (target practice with lance and battle-star, club, archery on both target and living target).
The highlight of the show is the knights' tournament. During the single combat the knights are demonstrating the small arms of that age. (battle, broadsword, sabre, club, lance)
There is also a "falconer" programme in the show.
At the end of the show all of the knights take part in the mass battle-scene.
Guests can try some the weapons, e.g. target practice and archery.
During the up to the roof garden of the tower our guests can visit the rich historical exhibitions with an expert guide (original finds from 3500 B.C. to the 17th century, for example a well from the Sigismund's age, a Hercules well from the Matthias age)
The top of the tower offers a beautiful view of the Danube Bend. (On the terrace there is possibility for organizing a 'medieval cocktail party' for additional charge.)
At the end of the show, guests walk down (150 metres) to the restaurant.
The duration of the show is about 1-1,5 hours.
