DESCRIPTION The historic vaulted cellars of Gerbeaud House, carefully restored and renovated in 1998, are the home of the Gerbeaud Pub. Meals of Gerbeaud Pub are hearty but not heavy. The menu ranges from beer snacks to grilled specialities to varieties of the beloved Hungarian pörkölt (goulash)-served in an earthenware pot and topped with a crust of baked bread.
If you are looking for what is considered one of the best beers in all Budapest, try the Gerbeaud beer, a Pilsner made according to a house recipe.
