In the morning the groups first starts a not typical sightseeing. Accompanied by a guide, visit the city, but feel as a Hungarian as well. Travel with the public transportation system and discover why the people say that it is very well arranged. There is no part of the city to which you can not arrive to using either busses, trolleys, metro or tram lines. The program is a regular city tour, but you get to see how the people of Budapest really live their everydays. Discover the second oldest metro line of Europe which passes by the Andrássy Avenue, and was designed to leave this road untouched for the carriages and turn of the century cars. See how old and modern transportation vehicles mix in an unimaginable calvacade, and witness the whirl of people going to their jobs, returning back home or just going around the city, living their lifes.

Sometime during this program, we take the guests to try some of Hungary's traditional pastries, like the Strudel or the Lángos, accompanied by coffee, tee or hot wine.

As the end of our city tour, we take the guests to the Great Market Hall of Budapest. By the 1890s many major European cities already had market halls, such as the famous Les Halles in Paris or Covent Garden in London , and others cities like Barcelona , Berlin , Florence and Lyons were to follow this trend. It was around this time that Budapest's councillors thought that the Hungarian capital should also have such a hall.

What is it that makes the building so popular and attractive? During the day it is filled with housewives deciding what they are going to put on the dining table in the evening, and you may well be wondering what ladies in Budapest typically cook for their families. It is this you can learn about during the gastronomic event offered to tourist groups at the Fakanál Restaurant upstairs on the gallery. In addition to tasting what the vendors sell downstairs, such as Herz salami, Gyulai sausages, crackling, juicy peppers and tomatoes, kőrözött (a spread made with sheep quark) and delicious fruits, guests can help themselves to substantial portions of a variety of delicious dishes simmering on the stoves.

As the continuation of the day, we take the group to the green City Park (Városliget), that occupies a field of one square kilometre. Here we find a romantic boating-lake that works as a skating rink during winter time, the Caste of Vajdahunyad that was built in the end of the XIX. This structure combines all architectural styles from Romanesque to Baroque. Here we also see the Széchenyi-bath, which is one of the largest bath complexes in Europe and it is the biggest public bath in the Austro-Hungarian era. The park also hosts the 'Budapest-Prater', offering a pleasant relaxation with modern and traditional games, the Zoo, being built by the example of Hamburg-Zoo, where animals are held in an environment similar to their natural habitat, and the Big Circus of Capital.

In this park the guest will not only visit the attractions, but they are invited to a picnic, where drinks and snacks are offered to them. Our team will be prepared with blankets to make their stay even more comfortable. This the big opportunity to get to know every interesting and small detail of Budapest, it's people anhd history, since the guide will be prepared to answer any question, tell and story.

The following program is a two hour long relaxing leisure activity in the Széchényi Thermal Bath, where everyone can try the different pools, the massage and the great experiences offered by this place.

For the end of the day, we offer an optional dinner for the group. The location would be a great canteen, where apart from the traditional food, the guests ccan feel the atmosphere of local, historical little restaurants, that were and are still today a very important part of everyday life of Budapest.
