Hidden details of the present and past.

This day, the group can visit the great statues and important details of Budapest, the Queen of the Danube. The twist lies in the time, since we mix the present and past, we show them what was and what is now this Capital.
First of all, the groups starts with the past visiting the Memento Statue Park. Here they learn, that part of Hungarian history is the Communist era. Here all the physical memories of this time have been put together, so everyone could see, touch and feel a bit of this Nation's past.

Displayed in the Park are 42 pieces of art from the Communist era between 1945 and 1989, including allegorical monuments of "Hungarian-Soviet Friendship" and "Liberation", as well as statues of famous personalities from the labour movement, soldiers of the Red Army and other gigantic pieces: Lenin, Marx, Engels, Dimitrov, Captain Ostapenko, Béla Kun and other "heroes" of the communist world.

The Grandstand is a 1:1 replica of the tribune serving as the pedestal for the 8-meter-tall bronze statue of Soviet party secretary, head of state and general, Stalin. The crowd revolting against communist oppression sawed the statue at its knees and pulled it down on the 23rd of October, 1956. The General's boots, however, remained on the pedestal to be a sarcastic reminder of the dictator.

Here we offer an optional lunch in the Restaurant Menza. This place is a modern resemblance of the coffee shops and restaurants of Budapest in the 1960's and 1970's. The retro style it the main atrtributes of the restaurant, but we should not forget to mention as well the high quality food and the great service.
Some people believe that only the locals of tourist who come from east-european countries are able to value completely the felling of the restaurant, but as we see it, this place gives the opportunity to all foreigners to experience a little of Hungary's not distant past and culture in a modern and comfortable way.

Following the meal, to see what was left after every little details of the past was vanished, we offer the Unique Center tour. Here apart from the magnificent building listed in the city center, the visitors with specialized guidence can uncover the hidden treasures of Budapest. These can be entrances and outside corridors made for carriages in apartment blocks, squares and cheerful statues, shops preserving their century-old beauty and restores passages. All these interesting and perplexing sights will guarantee the enthral and captivate anyone who will walk around the city looking for these everyday wonders.
