WELCOME The four-star Danubius Health Spa Resort Helia conference, wellness and spa hotel, was opened in 1990 and last renovated in 2007. Natural thermal water is pumped to the hotel spa from springs on the nearby Margaret Island, which is famous in Budapest for its high quality medical and relaxation services. The Hotel Helia is especially suited for conferences and is also well equipped for business travellers.
Danubius Health Spa Resort Helia was awarded the Medical Wellness Certificate accredited by the German TÜV Rheinland Group.

LOCATION The conference, health spa and wellness Hotel Helia is situated on the embankment of the River Danube with views on the Buda Hills and Margaret Island (Margitsziget). The Hotel is located close to the heart of the city and is within easy reach from the city centre with good access to public transport. Most rooms overlook a lovely, refreshing park and the river.

ROOMS Hotel Helia has 262 rooms, all have a bath, individually controlled air-conditioning, colour satellite TV, wireless internet acces, direct dial telephone, minibar, coffee and tea making facility, view on the River Danube, Margaret Island, the Buda Hills or the city, some rooms have balconies. 4 non-smoking floors, connecting rooms and rooms for handicapped guests are available as well.

RESTAURANTS The Jupiter Restaurant is at the guest's disposal during breakfast, lunch and dinner time. It welcomes everyone whether they be vegetarians, dieters or real gourmets. The Coffee shop is open all day offering famous Hungarian pastries, salads, snacks and hot meals.
