WELCOME The Fortuna boat hotel was opened in 2000. The two-storey air-conditioned boat hotel is comfortably and nicely furnished to suit the tastes of its "passengers." All the environment that has a romantic atmosphere, the view that is a part of the World Heritage and the central location provide advantages to tourists visiting Budapest.

LOCATION The boat hotel lies at anchor on the Pest side of the capital, next to the Margaret Bridge, opposite the beautiful Margaret Island. The city centre is only 800 metres from the hotel. The Inernational Airport is 40 minutes away from the boat hotel.

ROOMS The hotel awaits the guests with 44 one-bed and two-bed rooms with showers. Three of them are apartman rooms and there are four rooms of superior class. These rooms are equipped with TVs with satelite channels, mini bars and telephones. One of the specialities of These rooms is that each of them is named after a famous sailor or pirate.
One floor of the ship was especially made for the young. There are 14 rooms there with common shower facilities. The ship has been a member of the Association of Hungarian Youth Hostels, which means that the location meets the international standards and requirements from all aspects.

RESTAURANTS From September to June the air-conditioned, established Lord Nelson Restaurant offers hungarian and international dishes, rare specialities and with a wide selection of drinks. For those who like light entertainment, the grill terrace offers tap beer, tasty grill dishes, dishes from the pan, salads and live music every day from June.

CONFERENCES The Siren Hall is recommended for big events, conferences, trainings, presentations, press conferences, receptions and banquettes, while the Nelson Conference Salon is an extremely pleasant location for serious discussions. It is a comfortable leather upholstered suite, which provides a perfect opportunity to spend time separately and by concentrating on the talks. The Francis Drake Room has an English pub-like nature, which is nicely complemented by the special tables and furniture. The twilight necessary for the atmosphere is provided by the round porthole. All rooms have natural light ans are air-conditioned. The technical equipment includes TV, video, OHP, screens, flip-chart stands, cd players, fax, photocopiers, rostrum, darkening, PA system, internet connection and projector.
