Hi! I’m Jowita, guide, interpreter and translator (and a natural blond, but not the one from the jokes!!!). I learnt English in grammar school as well as from a previous Canadian relationship, while also having spent some time in Canada. While studying at ELTE University in Budapest, I was successful in achieving various scholarships to Denmark (Copenhagen University, Brandbjerg College, Askov College and Skćlskřr College) and Poland (University of Gdansk). I graduated from university in 2001 (MA in Scandinavian Studies) and afterwards I started a PhD in Danish Linguistics at the same university I graduated from. Since 2000 I have been working as a tour guide in 3 languages (English, Danish, Polish). I help visitors to discover the beauties of my country and to understand the political, social and economic changes in Hungary nowadays.
