Andrássy Palace

WELCOME The Andrássy Palace, built by János Bobula in 1880 at Andrássy út 62, was re-opened as events- and conference hall on May 30, 2002.
Beside conferences, the premises are also suitable for the purposes of trainings, managerial meetings, section meetings, auctions, exhibitions, concerts, quiz competitions, press conferences, school reunions, larger weddings and company events.

The inner and outer grandeur of the building was created by famous and renown artists of the time. The tiny statues of the facade were sculptured by Antal Szécsi. Artistic pieces inside the building were made in consideration of the atmosphere of the palace.

By the entrance, one will find the bronze statue of József Róna, called 'Hospitality and Domesticity', embodying the main principles of the Palace.

Marble staircases are decorated by bent-iron railing and the mural paintings of Károly Lotz. The paintings (work, frugality, flourish, humour, the four seasons, the four times of day) also match the atmosphere of the Palace.

LOCATION The building is situated on Andrássy street, in the centre of Pest, and can be easily reached by car or public transportation alike (by underground at Vörösmarty street, and by trams 4-6 at Oktogon).
